Laura Bell Bundy

Country Music's New Gunslingin' Gal

Who's the new pistol packin' country girl?  Laura Bell Bundy

is her name, and once you've met her and experienced her

charm first hand, you aren't likely to forget this spitfire native

from Lexington, Kentucky.  See a live performance,

and you're totally enthralled.  In fact, you kind of feel bad

for the rest of "Blonde Nashville".  We describe her as Kellie

Pickler, Juianne Hough and Sunny Sweeney all wrapped

up in one. Kellie had the gullible innocence, Julianne had the

energy, and Sunny had the Southern accent

Check, check, and check!

Country Music In Victory Lane

 While Rock Mourns a Legend

Nascar's big hero last weekend, was without

a doubt Kyle Bush, who won both races

this weekend and took home the cup.

All the action took place at Dover International

Speedway, and it didn't happen without

Country Music in the house.

J.C. Anderson kicked things off

on Saturday in Dover, singing the National

Anthem and on Sunday Joe Nichols

did the honors.

Kyle Busch brought home his second victory in as many days by capturing Sunday’s Autism Speaks 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

The driver of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) came off a dominating win in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race in his No. 18 Combos Toyota for JGR to lead 131 laps in the Sprint Cup show, including the final 35 circuits around the 1-mile oval to score his 18th career Sprint Cup victory.

Legendary vocalist of Black Sabbath,

Heaven & Hell and Dio, lost his

battle with stomach cancer early

Sunday morning.

His wife Wendy, released this

statement via blabbermouth.net:

"Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45 a.m. [on Sunday] 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private goodbyes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and

support that you have all given us.

Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this

terrible loss. Please know he loved you

all and his music will live on forever."

As earlier reported, the band was

scheduled to tour this summer but

canceled all dates earlier this month.
