Paisley on Maternity Leave ?

Just two weeks ago, Brad Paisley played the final show of his "Time Well Wasted Tour," in Chicago.

With two fabulous new artists as openers, Jake Owen and Carrie Underwood, the crowd was more than "geared-up," for the amazing performance the man on the

strings delivered. "Gone are the plain jeans and starched shirts

of his county fair days," says CMT.    "Paisley may have one-upped his wardrobe, but his live music

remains true to his West Virginia roots."   Needless to say, the show was a huge success.   Hopefully, you caught Brad on the Jay Leno show this week, as well.   After two brilliant performances, it was time to head home to wife Kimberly and prepare for their first child, due in February.

New Clay Walker Video

 ___________________________________________________

 Another one of your favorite

 Asylum-Curb Recording artists

has a new video out at CMT.

 Clay Walker's current single

'Fore She Was Mama, is now

 out on CMT Loaded.   Although,

 the lyrics aren't typical Walker

 style, the black cowboy hat,

 chiseled grin, and ability to

 seemingly make eye contact

with his fans right through the

 camera lens are totally CW.

 We're certainly glad he's off

 the golf course and holding

a six string again.  Yet, his mind

 couldn't have been far from

 his favorite sport when you

think of the title to his new single.

 "Fore," maybe a warning that

Walker just drove a hit in your

 direction.

If you're a real CW fan, be sure

to check out Clay's other video

 on CMT, " I Can't Sleep."

Crystal Gayle's Tour Bus Stolen and Recovered

Country music legend CRYSTAL GAYLE and her “tour bus” have been the topic of conversation within the media community over the last 2-3 days and finally some closure to the saga.

The 45’ blue Prevost that carries Crystal Gayle across the country to perform for fans night-after-night, was stolen in Pleasant View, Tennessee, from the Prevost lot by fugitive Christopher Daniel Gay.

Gay who was running from police used Gayle’s bus to travel from Tennessee to Florida. On Thursday night, Gayle was informed of the stolen bus and although not mad at the situation as it was out of her control, she wished for no harm to anyone and for the fugitive to turn himself in so he could see his dying mother.

The drama continued until late Friday night when Gay was seen in the bus after dropping off a prostitute in the area police were conducting an undercover prostitution sting. Police pulled the bus over and Gay was arrested without incident.

“I am relieved that nobody was hurt,” says Gayle. “I do know that the bus must have been rocking and rolling with a prostitute on board and we’ll have to do some cleaning with Clorox,” laughs Gayle. The condition of the bus is still unknown.

In the meantime, Gayle and her husband/manager Bill Gatzimos have been in contact with Gay’s sister Leann. “Leann wanted to apologize to us for what her brother had done,” says Gatzimos.

after the Jaguar she was in crashed while  shooting a scene for the upcoming

science fiction thriller "The Invasion."  The scene involved an escape from

zombielike characters who were on the hood of the car.

Kidman was examined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and then released a short time later.

Country music hubby Keith Urban was reportedly on the set when it happened,

along with Kidman's son, Connor Cruise.

I Wonder which was written about her distant mother.

The lyrics were heartfelt

and emotional and delivered

with her usual outstanding

vocal talent.

Rosie O'Donnell, co-host of ABC television's "The View," presented RCA Recording Artist Kellie Pickler a plaque commemorating the gold certification of her debut album, Small Town Girl, on Thursday while Pickler appeared on the show as a guest host.  The newcomer was obviously surprised and elated.  "This is awesome," the singer said. "It reinforces that my dreams are becoming a reality. It's almost better than being in a shoe department where everything's half off! " An album is officially certified Gold, when 500,000 copies have been shipped to retailers.

Congrats Kellie and BNA !

New Country Star Neighbor Chely Wright

Has a Playground Named in Her Honor

During the holiday season each year,

 award-winning country music artist

Chely Wright takes care to spend

 personal time with her hometown

 community and those with special

 needs.  For a second consecutive

year,  the Kansas native performed an

 intimate acoustic concert to benefit

 TARC (Topeka Association of Retarded

 Citizens), a not-for-profit organization

 which provides services to infants,

 children, adults and seniors with

 developmental and related

 disabilities in Topeka, Kansas.

 Wright performed just before

 Christmas on Wednesday,

 December 13, 2006 in an

 up-close and personal setting,

moving the more than 200 guests in

 attendance and raising over $20,000.

 As a special surprise, TARC

 reciprocated Wright’s generosity to

unveil site plans for a children’s

 playground in her name,

 “The Wright Place.”

“This is an unexpected and deeply

humbling honor,” said Wright who is

also founder of the Reading, Writing &

Rhythm Foundation.  “I’m proud to be

part of this community and their

 continued effort to improve it.

 Topeka is synonymous with

 ‘community,’ a place where citizens

 become caring neighbors and

 friends.”

 TARC officials announced the funds

raised at this year’s benefit will be

 used to construct a completely

 accessible playground for children of

all abilities.  The official name will be

“The Topeka Active 20/30 Club’s Wright

Place for Kids.”  Construction will begin

 early this spring.

Toby Keith's Broken Bridges

In Broken Bridges the movie, a military accident claims the lives

of five soldiers from tiny

Armor Springs, Tennessee.

Their funeral brings home the

town's most renowned exiles:

Bo Price (Toby Keith), a broken-down country star, known as "No Show Bo" for his habit of canceling concerts, and Angela Delton (Kelly Preston), a TV reporter in Miami. Each of them lost a younger brother in the crash.  But that's not all they have in common.  Back when they were high school sweethearts, Angela got pregnant, and thus the plot ....
