Wedding Day Down Under
Urban and Kidman
![]() |
In what the Associated Press calls "a lavish but intimate ceremony", Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were wed Sunday night June 25th, at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church in Sydney, Australia. This is Urban's first marriage. Kidman's 10 year marriage to Tom Cruise ended in 2001. While the ceremony was very traditional and attended by close family and friends, Australian movie actors Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman were also on the guest list. Kidman was spotted arriving in a cream colored Rolls Royce Limousine followed by helicopters, while Urban made his way to the church without being noticed by media. |

Thank You Toby For Remembering Our Troops and For Taking The Time To Visit Them ! |
Multi-platinum country entertainer Toby Keith just returned from a five-day USO Tour of the Persian Gulf and Germany over Memorial Day weekend. His itinerary included performances at major bases including Camp Fallujah, forward operating bases, as well as stops to visit wounded troops. "You can't appreciate what service members do until you see it," Keith told local military reporters. "Everybody is so good at what they do and when you come here you can really understand why America is the number one fighting force in the world." Keith's attachment to the troops goes beyond simply singing hit songs like "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue" and "American Soldier." His father, the late HK Covel, was a veteran wounded in service, and supporting the armed forces has always been a priority for the singer/songwriter.

Josh Gracin Young and Restless ?
|
If you happened to miss Thursday's episode of the daytime soap "The Young and The Restless," you also missed Josh Gracin's Acting Debut. Until now, his acting credits went about as far as a few rolls in high school plays, to the making of his own music videos. He admits he's no "big" soap fan, but he remembers a sick-day at home from school meant that was all he'd watch, because his mother and sisters were dedicated daytime fans. He definitely likes the opportunity the project has given him to reach out to an entirely different audience. |

Who's In Nashville ?
Some Say Just The Fans
Carrie
Underwood's Advice For Idol Hopeful
_________________________________________________________
|
Carrie Underwood recently voiced her own opinion with X Radio, regarding Chris Daughtry's dismissal from American Idol.
"I think a lot of the
people that are upset about it are people who weren’t voting," laughs Carrie
to X Radio. "So, they have no room to be upset if they didn’t
sit down and vote for him. And I think a lot of people thought
that Chris had it in the bag, so maybe that’s why they didn’t vote for him.
But I mean for him…that was a launching pad, and anything he does post-Idol
is more than he was doing before, you know. So he’s just gotta
take it and run with it and strike while the iron is hot. " |
When viewers found out that Chris Daughtry would not be the new American Idol, they were stunned and upset.
"People love Chris. So yeah, he’ll make it. " Carrie Underwood |

Dierks Came
Prepared to Please
Some said the days of the "Big Names" attending Fan Fair and actually
taking time to stand for hours and hours signing autographs for their fans,
were long gone. However, Dierks Bentley proved them wrong.
![]() But they're great. They are so appreciative of this time that they get to spend with you. I always thank them. I feel bad for them waiting, standing in that line for that long, but they just love it, man." Well, the fans sure love Dierks, and it seems it is well deserved. |
Of course, he did want to be comfortable at his fan club party this year, so he brought along a special pair of shoes. "I brought my signing shoes," Dierks tells X Radio." "I had really thick soled Vans on...No cowboy boots because I stood for about five hours and signed autographs for my fans. I'm reminded of Garth Brooks signing for 23 hours, so I never complained once." "I'm like, 'Well, it's been about four and a half hours, but Garth did it for 23, so I got a ways to go before I can start complaining.'

Tour Bus Strikes and Kills Pedestrian
A tour bus carrying bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs from a performance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival struck and killed a man Friday night.
The bus was traveling south on Interstate 24 through Tennessee about 7:40 p.m., just about a mile from the exit for the Music Festival. Authorities say, a man stepped out onto the highway.
A spokeswoman for the Tennessee Department of Safety said, "It appears that this was unavoidable, the young man just walked out onto the interstate." The victim's identity was not released, pending notification of his family.
It is suspected, that the man had been attending the four-day festival, and identification showed he was not from Tennessee. He apparently hopped a fence to reach the highway.
The accident is still under investigation. There was no indication of alcohol use by either the bus driver or the victim.
We have no official word from Skagg's representatives.
The Bonnaroo festival is in its fifth year, attracting about 80,000 music fans and artists each year to 700 acres of farmland in central Tennessee about 60 miles southeast of Nashville.
