Collin Raye
Fast on the Move with Hurricane Jane
|
It's Finally Here ! The Hurricane Jane video has now been released and can be seen on CMT, as well as Raye's official website
Along with the new release and video, there have been a lot of other changes on the horizon for the accomplished country musician with 15 #1 Hits to his credit, and still counting.
Even though there was no sign of bad weather, in the Collin Raye camp, with a new record deal on Aspirion Records, Raye felt the need to change directions
“I recorded the single “Hurricane Jane” before the devastating hurricanes,” says Collin, “so I never believed it would be a single, nor be performed at the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, but I think that the clever nature of the song and its rhythm help people realize there are many powers that disrupt our everyday lives—good and bad.” Read the "Official Press Release"

Tracy Lawrence
A New Label He Can Call His Own Rocky Comfort Records
|
Toby Keith did it, Neal McCoy just did it, and now...... Tracy Lawrence is giving it a go! What you ask? Their own Record Label. That's right. We all know Show Dog Records belongs to Toby Keith, and now most of us are familiar with 903 Records, which began and is operated by country music artist Neal McCoy. Well get ready for (RCR) Rocky Comfort Records, owned and operated by Tracy Lawrence in partnership with his brother Laney Lawrence. Good Luck Guys, and we here at New Country Star certainly know there are plenty of talented artists looking for your support. Who knows, you may find your first major recording artist right here on the pages of NCS!

For example, Chris Duncan of the St. Louis Cardinals is using "Swing" as his batting song when he steps up to the plate each game. Along with playing the song some ballparks are even playing the video for "Swing" for fans to enjoy during the game.
